The STO-2 is a measurement-style pressure transducer, primarily for instrument capture. The small transducer size (6.3 mm) minimises audio field disturbance. They are sold in matched sets for use as spaced or Jecklin disk pairs. The overall size is relatively small to make them easy to position and to fit into standard mic clips. The body is thick section aluminium to avoid ringing.
