The CK-7 is a multi pattern large diaphragm transformer-less FET cardioid condenser microphone equipped with a 35 mm centre-terminated gold-sputtered thin Mylar capsule and high grade Polystyrene and Metallized Polypropylene capacitors in the audio path. The microphone offers three switchable polar patterns, omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight. It is is ideal for recording vocal, piano, drum overheads and acoustic guitar. The CK-7 features a 10 dB attenuation pad and 80 Hz LF roll off filter. The microphone includes a shock mount, a wooden box and a metal carrying case.
