The CV-12 BLA is a large diaphragm multi pattern tube condenser microphone equipped with a 34 mm CK12 style capsule, hand selected Russian made 6072A tube, a 10 dB attenuation pad and a 80 Hz low frequency filter. The coupling capacitor is a Solen FastCap, which was chosen for its transparency. The CV-12 BLA features a completely redesigned power supply, with a new low-noise circuit. The CV-12 BLA includes the new Jetsun shock mount with an open front section, allowing instruments and windscreens to get several inches closer to the head-shell. This design feature allows artists to take advantage of an increased proximity effect. The microphone includes power supply, cables and a black faux alligator skin case.
