The BV-1 is a transformer coupled multi pattern tube large diaphragm microphone equipped with a single-sided 32 mm centre-terminated gold-sputtered Mylar (6 micron) capsule and hand selected Russian 6072A tube. It features an elegant Buttercream baked on finish, accented with polished nickel trim and grill. The BV-1 is primarily a vocal microphone but is equally suited for instrument recordings. It has a 10 dB attenuation pad and a 80 Hz low cut filter. The BV-1 comes with shock mount, continuously variable polar pattern power supply, microphone cables, removable metal pop filter and custom designed tweed road case.
