Common name: Austrian Audio OC707

Production Status: In production

The OC707 is a handheld cardioid condenser microphone for vocal applications. The small diaphragm OCC7 capsule is a descendant of the AKG CK1 featuring a 3-micron gold-coated polyethylene naphthalate (pen) diaphragm. This is more resistant than Mylar. The OC707 employs Open Acoustics Technology allowing sound sources to enter the capsule from almost all sides. The capsule placement has been designed to avoid reflections from internal surfaces. Vibrations are also minimised thanks to use of advanced materials and mechanical decoupling. The Microphone features a selectable 120 Hz, 12 dB octave low-cut filter and an on/off switch. Includes OCH1 microphone clip and MSC1 carrying case.
