The OC7 is a small diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone which is specially optimised for use on instruments. It is equipped with the had-built OCC7 capsule featuring a three micron thick gold-coated polyethylene naphthalate (pen) diaphragm inspired by the AKG CK1. The microphone has linear frequency response and very low self-noise. The OC7 features an internal suspension system and a 220° swivel joint mechanism for optimal microphone placement. A 10 dB attenuation pad is also available as well as a selectable 80 Hz, 6 dB/octave or 120 Hz, 6 dB/octave high pass filter
