The D6 is a cardioid dynamic microphone for kick drum applications utilizing VLM (Very Low Mass) technology. The response is intentioonally lifted at LF and HF to give solid reproduction of percussion with good transients. Sensitivity is relatively low to enable use with very high SPLs.
