The microphone can be fitted with interchangeable hypercardioid (UE-H) and omnidirectional (UE-O) condenser elements available separately. The U891Rb is equipped with a PivotPoint® rotating output connector allowing the cable to exit from either the rear or the bottom of the microphone, a two-state RGB LED status indicator, a UniSteep® 80 Hz low cut filter and UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology for outstanding rejection of radio frequency interference (RFI) and also features heavy die-cast case and silicon foam bottom pads to minimise coupling of surface vibration to the microphone.
