The AT849 is designed primarily for surface-mount applications in broadcast, professional recording and sound reinforcement. The AT849’s closely-matched optimally-positioned UniPoint® elements deliver the spatial impact and realism of a live sound field. Its heavy die-cast case and rubber bottom-pad minimize coupling of surface vibration to the microphone. It offers switchable low-frequency roll-off and its low-profile design makes for minimum visibility. Its 7.6 m detachable cable has TA5F to two 3-pin XLRM-type connectors.
