The AT4080 is a studio microphone utilising a Microlinear dual ribbon element. This technology minimises sagging and lateral flexing of the ribbon. The microphone uses a neodymium magnet assembly and an electronic impedance converter to give the higher output required for modern microphone preampliers. An oversized output transformer gives extended LF response.
