The AP 1B-FET is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone ideal for vocal and instrument recording applications. It features a vintage style handmade brass capsule with a 3 micron, gold-evaporated diaphragm and a low-noise FET circuit. The custom-wound output transformer is magnetically shielded and the microphone body as well as the grille are made of stainless steel. Includes the APD PFM+ pop filter, SM4 shock-mount and a moisture resistant Aluminium storage case.
