The 800 Series for trumpet and trombone is a low profile condenser microphone system specifically designed for brass instruments. It clamps onto the body of the instrument to allow the bell to resonate, and provides pure tonal reproduction while being unobtrusive. It incorporates harmonic dampening and has a 115° pattern, giving the system a great rejection rate to background noise. It includes the P800LS and P880S versions.
