The RA-1 is a bidirectional ribbon microphone especially designed for public address applications. The microphone employs Cobalt steel magnets for extremely long life and an Aluminium alloy ribbon element resistant to stretching and not affected by temperature, pressure or humidity and a Silicon Steel coupling transformer. The bronze and steel case provides optimal shielding.
