The CQ Professional preamp series uses similar sensors to the B1000 range but has preamplifiers built into extended XLR connectors. The output is balanced and the device operates from phantom power only. As well as having a wider bandwidth the maximum output is increased to 1.5 V and the signal-to-noise ratio improved to 83 dBA.
