The 684B is a dynamic omnidirectional microphone for broadcasting, telecasting and recording applications. It features the Altec Mylar® “Golden” diaphragm and the sintered bronze protection filter. A built-in polyester foam filter helps minimising breath-noise. The 684B has a tilted frequency response of +4 dB between 100 Hz and 10 kHz to provide high intelligibility of speech while reducing the pickup of low-frequency room “rumble” The impedance is variable by changing pin arrangement at the connector between 30/50 150/250 and 20000 Ohm. Includes 15 feet shielded cable, individual frequency chart, stand adapter and storage case.
