The D 558E is a dynamic noise-cancelling hyper-cardioid condenser microphone mounted on a goose-neck shaft for close-talking, intercom and talkback applications. It is also excellent as a newsdesk microphone. It combines a Makrofol diaphragm dynamic pressure gradient transducer with a front and side ported housing to achieve high noise rejection. It can be mounte on a flat surface, desk or on a microphone stand. Includes 1.15 metre non detachable two-conductor shielded cable and mounting hardware.
