The D 503 is a dynamic cardioid goose-neck microphone with a Makrofol diaphragm element for speech pickup in public address applications. The goose-neck is 343 mm long with a built-in 5/8″ thread. It features a continuously variable bass attenuator from 0 to dB 14 dB at 100 Hz to reduce resonances and improve intelligibility in close speech pickup applications. It also features a built-in windscreen for outdoor use, effective against dust and iron particles.
