Common name: AKG D 11 C

Production Status: Discontinued / Vintage

The D 11 C is an all-purpose dynamic cardioid microphone for dubbing, reporting, public address and communication applications. It features an integraded folding table stand and a bass attenuation switch (Music/Speech). It was available in many variants with high or low impedance output. Has an integrated 2-conductor shielded 1.5 m cable. Includes plastic case.

D 11/200: low impedance

D 11/200 S: with switch for on/off or pilot control

D 11/200 B: for tape recorders. Features extended low frequency resonse for high quality music recording.

D 11/200 BS: as the 200 B but with an additional switch for on/off or pilot operation.

D 11/Hi: has a built-in transformer for high impedance connection. cable is 1.5 m terminated with a 3-pin connector. Can be wired for 50000 Ohm or 200 Ohm.

D 11/HiS: as the D 1/Hi but with an additional switch for either on/off or pilot use.

D 11/HiB: as the D 11/Hi but with extended low frequency resonse for high quality music recording.

D 11/HiBS: as the D 11/HiB but with an additional switch for pilot or on/off purposes.

Frequency response is quoted by AKG as 100 Hz – 12 kHz for standard models and 80 Hz to 12 kHz for Hi and HiB models.
