The CE 8 is a short-shotgun hypercardioid electret condenser capsule ideal for field interviews, motion picture and video dialogue pickup applications. It combines both pressure-gradient and interference-tube principles for greater directionality and working distance than conventional cardioid types. It is part of the C 500 system and screws directly onto the SE-5E powering module.
