The CE 5 is a is a cardioid electret condenser capsule with integral shock-mount and windscreen. It is ideal as a handheld vocalist’s microphone in recording studio or concert applications. It features an internally suspended transducer to minimise shocks and vibrations and a wire-mesh windscreen with polyurethane foam lining to minimise pop and wind noise. The CE 5 frequency response is tailored to compensate for proximity effect. It is part of the C 500 system and screws directly onto the SE-5E powering module.
