The C 510E is a miniature lavalier microphone, part of the C-500 system. A combination of the SE-5E powering module and CE 10/1 electret condenser capsule. It is ideal for film, television and lecture applications. The capsule clips on the performer’s clothing providing natural speech reproduction without sibilance peaks and clothing rustle. The capsule has a built-in IC preamplifier and  4′ non detachable cable that connects to the power module with battery. The SE-5E module contains a compartment and on/off switch for a PX-23.6-volt mercury photographic battery, a DC regulating and filtering network , an audio output transformer, and a 3-pin XLR male connector. It can operate up to 550 continuous hours on battery or up to 1000 hours intermittently. When phantom powered the module’s on-off switch is bypassed while its regulating filter network protects the microphone from reverse-voltage damage. Includes H-16 belt clip for the SE-5E power module, two w-6 windscreens and foam-lined carrying case.
