The Essence is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone. The microphone is equipped with a selectable -10 dB attenuation pad and a 80 Hz high-pass filter. The output stage is switchable between transformer-balanced output stage. The custom wound toroidal transformer has a nano-crystalline VITRO-PERM core. Optional Orbit shock-mount and Sentry pop filter are available separately.
