The Spatial Mic is a small diaphragm condenser microphone equipped with an 8 capsule array for second order ambisonics recordings coupled to a digitally-controlled multi-stage analogue front end. The Spatial Mic uses a dedicated 16-core processor and high resolution SiLabs clocking It features a stereo analogue output for real time binaural monitoring. Digital connections include USB Streaming up to 24-bit / 96 kHz and ADAT Light-Pipe up to 24-bit / 48 kHz. The microphone works with a Converter Plugin that converts raw audio into first or second order ambisonics in AmbiX or Fuma formats via an internal 64-channel filter matrix. The plugin can output 1st & 2 nd order ambisonics, 5.1, 5.1.2, 5.1.4, 7.1, 7.1.2, 7.1.4, mono/stereo and mid side. Includes USB C to C and a USB C to A cable, 3 meter, black nylon braided, ¼-20 to ⅝’’ mini swivel ball hard-mount and foam windshield.
