The Pearl Standard is a small diaphragm end-fire microphone with a 14mm single-diaphragm capsule with a slightly accentuated low-end response. It has a 6-micron gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm. The grille is multilayer brass mesh types and the electronics are discrete component Class A and transformerless.
