The V44S is a multi-pattern stereo FET condenser microphone. It features an ultra-low-noise JFET circuit, twin custom-voiced edge-terminated 34 mm capsules with 3 micron thick, gold sputtered mylar diaphragms, a detented heavy-duty rotation mechanism and cryogenically treated critical signal path components. It can be used for X/Y, Blumlein and Mid-Side recordings. The top capsule is rotatable by 90° in 15° detents. Includes shock mount, wooden microphone box, splitter box with Mid-Side outputs and flight case.
