The CM-H8D is a large 1″, 3-micron diaphragm dual-pattern vacuum tube microphone switchable between omnidirectional and cardioid. It is based around a non-specified Nuvistor type valve. The microphone is ideal for vocal, speech, instrument and choir recording applications. It features a low-cut filter. Includes deluxe HM-7 elastic suspension shock mount, HM-8 swivel adapter, PS-1 power supply, 7-pin microphone cable and aluminium carrying case.
