The SoundField DSF-B MKII is a completely digital Ambisonic broadcast system that includes a DSF-2 MKII microphone, a microphone controller and a DSF-3 MKIII digital surround processor. It is designed for large scale live sports events, and concert halls recordings. It provides simultaneous mono, stereo and digital surround formats, including object based formats with additional height channels. The single point pickup from the microphone is phase coherent allowing for collapsing the surround format to stereo or mono for radio and TV broadcasts without any loss of information. The system is connected via Ethernet to the SoundField remote app for remote configuration and troubleshooting of the system. It also features a panel lock to avoid accidental changes and an auto-ranging power supply. Includes leather microphone case, 20 m microphone cable, shock mount, mains power cable, DSF-2 MKII 1U Digital Microphone Controller and and a DSF-3 MKIII digital surround processor.
