The ECM-100U is a small diaphragm cardioid electret condenser microphone. It is ideal for solo acoustic instruments recordings or as a part of a stereo setup. The ECM-100U features a newly developed capsule with an extended frequency response, from 20 Hz to 50 kHz for high resolution PCM, DXD or DSD recordings. It features a switchable 10 dB attenuation pad and low-cut filter. The two part metallic body structure also employed in the C800G minimise acoustic vibration for clearer recordings.
