The Sigma 2 is a phantom powered hand-made ribbon microphone. It features British made electronics and output transformer providing high sensitivity and very low self noise. The electronics feature RFI filters to allow interference free use both in the studio and on the stage. The Sigma 2 is ideal for vocals, speech, solo woodwinds, electric guitar amplifiers and stringed instruments. In a stereo X/Y setup two microphones can be used as drum overheads, or to record grand piano, string quartets and other string ensembles. Includes shock mount and flight case.
