The Mercury is British hand-built large diaphragm multi-pattern vacuum tube condenser microphone with an infinite choice of polar patterns, continuously variable between omnidirectional and figure of eight. It uses high grade components with 1% or less tolerance and a 12AT7/ECC81 based preamplifier. The medical-grade filtered power supply unit features a 10 dB attenuation pad and a 75 Hz low-cut filter. The Aria is ideal for vocals, voiceover, piano, strings, acoustic guitar, electric guitar amplifiers, brass, woodwinds, ethnic instruments, drums, percussion, small ensembles, orchestral and choral room miking. Includes wooden microphone box, aluminium flight case, elastic spider-style shock mount, ring mount, microphone cable and power lead.
