The TL48 is a subminiature omnidirectional lavalier electret condenser microphone designed for theatre, broadcast and film. The TL48 features a midrange presence rise for use in speech and dialogue applications. Like other models in the TwinPlex line the patent pending dual diaphragm design doubles the surface area, resulting in improved off-axis consistency, excellent low frequency response and low self-noise. The TL48 features a fixed frequency cap with internal sweat and moisture resistant hydrophobic woven lining, a paintable 1.6 mm cable that is immune to memory effect and dual redundant ground connection for secondary shielding and enhanced durability. It is available with Lemo, TA4F/MTQG, MicroDot, XLR/Preamplifier termination or unterminated bare wires.
