The KSM141 is an end-addressed condenser microphone which can be switched from omni to cardioid with a mechanical switching arrangement. It can withstand extreme SPL (up to 170dBSPL under some conditions) and has a transformerless Class A preamplifier. The mechanical switching permits a very precise cardioid pattern and a true (single diaphragm) omni.
