The Beta WB98 HC is a miniature cardioid electret condenser microphone with transformer-less preamplifier circuitry. It can withstand high sound pressure levels and is ideal for brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. The preamplifier is attached to a 1.6 metre long high-flex cable terminated with a 4-pin mini connector for wireless body-pack transmitters. The integrated gooseneck and ratcheting swivel joint allows the microphone to be easily positioned and secured in place, and an isolation shock-mount reduces the transmission of mechanical noise. A goose-neck angle brace is included to provide better retention of the microphone placement during performances. The cardioid capsule element can be replaced with a super-cardioid one (RPM 110). Includes zippered carrying bag, windscreen, 1.6 metre high-flex cable.
