The 70D is a “bottle” style microphone with a tiltable head housing a crystal element and two-stage valve preamplification electronics located in the main body. It uses two type 76 (CV615) general purpose amplifier triodes. The head can be aimed directly at the sound source for optimal pickup, especially when used for overhead applications. The head is finished in plated chrome while the aluminum body is finished in double baked satin rubber-black-japan. Includes 12 ft. cable and suspension adapter.
