The 705A “Rocket” is a wide-range response semi-directional crystal microphone equipped with a screen-protected and mechanically isolated, moisture-sealed Grafoil Bimorph (high capacity) element. It is ultra modern in form and performance, adding beauty and versatility to sound installations. The 705A is suitable for high quality public address, broadcasting, recording and industrial applications. The A91A removable directional baffle can be added to reduce pickup from the sides and rear of the microphone at high frequencies. When turned to the vertical position the microphone is perfectly non-directional in the horizontal plane allowing pickup of large groups and orchestras. The tilting head features a built-in cable connector Includes 25 ft. shielded, rubber-jacketed single-conductor cable.
