The 556S is a small dynamic cardioid microphone for broadcast and television studio applications. It is ideal for high-quality station and remote broadcasting, public address, theatre-stage sound system and recording applications. The pickup element is enclosed in a live rubber suspension to reduce mechanical and vibration noise. Impedance is selectable between High, Mid and Low and the self-tensioning swivel permits tilting through 45º forward and 80º backward. Includes 20-foot shielded 2-conductor cable.
