The 41H-53BC is a floor standing variant of the 43D “Wave Equalized” condenser microphone. This turns the 43D into a AC-operated high-fidelity microphone unit ideal for remote and studio broadcasts as well as high-quality public address work. The stand is an “Automatic Friction-Lock” type with a modern design base and paneling. This allows for silent, smooth self-locking adjustment of microphone height without set-screws or wing-nuts. The power supply housed in the cast-iron base is shielded against stray hum and ripple. It provides 6.3v. for the heaters and 200v. for the tube plates and head polarisation.
