The Samson Q2U is a cardioid dynamic handheld microphone equipped with XLR and USB outputs. The Q2U is ideal for podcasting, home studios, mobile recording, stage performance, and interviews. The Q2U can be connected directly to a computer or mobile device via USB, or directly into a mixer or audio interface with an XLR cable. Both connections can be used simultaneously for recording a live event or performance. The Q2U also features a 1/8″ (3.5mm) headphone output for zero latency monitoring. The Q2U can be used with iPhones and iPads via Apple’s Lightning to USB Camera Adapter or Android devices via a Host OTG cable. It is plug and play with no driver installation required and compatible with most computer based Digital Audio Workstations. The Q2U includes a mic clip, desktop tripod stand with extension piece, windscreen, XLR cable and USB cable.
