The P-49 is a vacuum tube multi-pattern condenser microphone styled after the Neumann U49. The circuit is based around a 5744 WB miniature vacuum tube and a custom output transformer. The P-49 is switchable between omnidirectional and figure of eight with nine intermediate patterns. It is an excellent vocal microphone, equally suited to stringed instruments, brass and drums. Includes wooden box, MX-56 power supply, 8-pin microphone cable, shock-mount and flight case. Matched pairs are available on request.
