P-414

Common name: Peluso Microphone Lab P-414

Production Status: In production

The P-414 is a large diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphone styled after the AKG 414. It takes inspiration from the 1976 EB version of the 414 with the brass dual-backplate, edge-terminated 34 mm capsule. It is switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid, hyper-cardioid and figure of eight. The P-14 features an all metal double-mesh head grille, heavy-duty brass body, a large custom output transformer, 10 and 20 dB attenuation pad as well as a switchable low cut filter. It is ideal for vocals, acoustic guitars, piano, drum overheads, toms and guitar amplifiers. Includes velvet microphone bag, shock-mount, hard mount foam windscreen and flight case. Matched pairs are available on request.
