The Pearl MS 2 CL is a  very light microphone specially made for MS recording in TV, video and film production. The M and S signals are combined by the internal matrix to produce Left and Right outputs. The microphone is resistant to moisture, dust, changes in temperature, and so on, and its amplifier provides low noise and transformerless output. The frequency range extends from 60Hz to >18kHz.

It is externally identical to the MS 8. In MS 2 model the M  and  S  signals are combined by an internal matrix to produce Left and Right outputs. In the MS 8 the  M  and  S  channels are output independently for externalprocessing.
