The Pearl CO 22 uses the classic Pearl rectangular capsule configured in an omni-directional pattern. The high quality phantom powered preamplifier has very low noise levels and the frequency response is very flat both on”and off axis up to 12kHz which makes it useful for distance recording applications. In matched pair configuration it is an excellent solution for AB stereo recording. The CO 22 has a red LED to indicate that phantom power is applied to the microphone.
