The CC 22 H uses the classic Pearl large rectangular dual membrane capsule, which has a unique design providing exceptionally flat frequency response extending, overall, from 20 Hz to 25 kHz. The preamp of the CC 22 H is transformerless and requires 48 V phantom power. An LED on the back of the mic illuminates when phantom power is connected. The CC 22 H provides approx. 20 dB higher output level that conventional condenser microphones. (This microphone was originally designated CC30).
