The MC404 is a handheld stereo microphone for studio use. It has a specially designed 28 mm diameter double transducer. The design gives excellent mono compatibility and has exceptionally low self-noise. Each output is available individually allowing combination at the mixing desk to generate omnidirectional through to fig-8 patterns. It is no longer in production and has been superseded by the MC550.
