KMS 140
Common name: Neumann KMS 140
Production Status: Discontinued / Vintage
The KMS 140 is a cardioid transformer-less condenser microphone for handheld use featuring outstanding brilliance and a high degree of feedback suppression when used on stage. It is ideal for vocalists and instrumental applications. A specially designed acoustic filter effectively minimizes pop noises. The microphone features a recessed 10 dB attenuation pad and a hi-pass filter. The attenuation is achieved by lowering the capsule polarization voltage. The KMS 140 has been replaced by the KMS 104.
