The DC-96C is a side-addressed transformer-less large triangular membrane cardioid microphone. It employs the same rubber shock-mounted capsule as the DC-196 and has the same single layer mesh grid as the DC-96B. It is ideal for recording vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, hi-hats, overheads and guitar amplifiers. It features a 10 dB attenuation pad. Includes windscreen.
