The DC-196 Platinum Edition is a large dual triangular membrane transformer-less multi-pattern microphone. It has an internally rubber shock-mounted capsule and a 12 dB attenuation pad. It is switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight. The DC-196 Platinum Edition celebrates the 75th anniversary since Milab founder Rune Rosander opened his first microphone business in Stockholm in 1941. The microphone comes in “Neptune Blue” Nextel® finish and is shipped in a custom designed wooden box. Production is limited to 75 units, each one delivered with a signed letter of authenticity. Includes shock-mount and windscreen.
