The G106 is an instrumentation-style microphone with a large (26 mm) capsule. The diaphragm is a gold-plated polymer type. Response extends down to 10 Hz and has a lift at around 8 kHz. The G106-Pair are matched to 0.5 dB and 5° for stereo use.
