WME 970 H digital

Common name: Microtech Gefell WME 970 H digital

Production Status: In production

The WME 970 H digital is a weatherproof microphone unit for long-time outdoor measuring, stationary and mobile noise control and the analysis of environmental and traffic noise. It consists of the 1/2″ condenser measuring microphone capsule MK 233 B, the 1/2″ measuring microphone preamplifier MV 230 digital, the dehumidifier TA 202, the rain and dust shield RS 96 H, the wind shield VW 96 H with bird spike and the supply module VM 960 including the calibration generator. The WME 970 H digital can be used with power supply units with a voltage range between 6 V DC and 25 V DC. It is equipped with a remote switchable calibration generator, a switchable cable driver and a switchable heater resistor preventing a possible condensation under extremely climatic conditions. The calibration generator injects a sinusoidal signal into the measuring microphone capsule via an electrostatic actuator. The microphone unit can be calibrated with the Pistonphone type 5002 or other current sound pressure calibrators. The WME 970 H digital is designed for sound level meters of Type 1 according to IEC 61672. Includes dehumidifier adapter TA 202, Cable C 25.1 (length 10 m), windscreen with bird-spike VW 96 H, rain/dust-shield RS 96 H, thread adapter, thread G 1½” – 3/8″, wooden carrying case.
