The UM 900 is a large diaphragm tube multi pattern transformer coupled condenser microphone. It uses an M7 capsule with a gold plated double PVC diaphragm and a brass black plate. It has five polar patterns: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, super-cardioid and figure of eight. The microphone is phantom powered thanks to an advanced circuit design and internal power supply. It is ideal for voice and speech recording in scoring stages and broadcast studios. It is also well suited for full orchestra or as a spot microphone for individual instruments. It features a -10 dB at 70 Hz high-pass filter as well as a -10 dB and +4 switchable gain positions. Includes wooden case and MH 80 microphone holder.
